Now then, I do not like playing Davriel without bridges, but I like paying for bridges even less, so here's a post-Horizons 8 rack deck.Much has changed, for one the metagame is different, and repulsive, you're often throwing babies against a wall in game 1, and then suddenly your sideboard allows you to encase those babies in half a metric ton of TnT. It's boring. I hate it. But it's our reality. For another, we have the Horizon lands, which help more than you would think they could in a deck with Smallpox, Raven's Crime, and half a hundred ways to make itself discard any excess lands. It slants the really heavy floods in our favor without costing us much in the more normal games due to the presence of Urborg.Delirium Skeins is purely a pet card and should likely be a maindeck surgical. And the Murderous Cut is in here so that my conscience can be eased as I hope to not draw a second Nether Spirit.
There is one word that is found on 60% of the cards in this deck, and it is the word "discard" and that is what you do, always. But it isn't terribly simple as any pilot/YouTube gameplay video can tell you. Much like in chess, sequencing in the early game and planning 5 moves ahead in the late game is very often necessary and makes for a very entertaining control deck. Especially in an LGS setting where you can do cool things like sideboard in Blackmail against Tron, which is mostly played by rich youngsters where I'm from, youngsters willing to show you a tron piece which you then proceed to take and promptly Sugrical away, along with their hopes and dreams.

Love your comment about the Tron piece. Reminds me how much I love slow rolling Damping Sphere VS Tron :p

Haha, well, the only thing I like about tron is beating it, and it's really fun to do so on turn 1 xD
