Deck Description

I've tried so many different full mill decks which haven't worked that I figured I'd give a shot to a different approach. (New Phyrexia should help control mill.. will be interesting)

Anyways, I think this is an interesting take on small u/b control focusing on discard damage.
Instead of using Quest of Nihil stone I decided to focus around Bloodchief ascension.

Given, I'm not too sure about the best way to trigger the quest counters (sure, inquisitions.. expensive tho!) but I think simple liliana's caress should be able to do the trick; contaminated ground can also be an interesting control card to trigger it and even the creeping tar pits.
Hideous end over doom blade/smother for the damage.
Horrifying revelation since it deals 4 damage after bloodchief is ready, hedron crabs since they can also be a great source of damage!

Preordain because it can really make decks work better, mana leak because.. why not?

It may not have enough control to survive, would have to test it first.

Deck discussion for Standard U/B Discard

MINDCRANK.

Fully loaded Bloodchief + Mindcrank + 1 damage or 1 card hitting grave = Infinite loss of life until opponent is dead.

What he said. Once NPH is released, that's a far too easy kill combo. Can have both cards out by turn 2 and win by turn 3 with any number of monoblack cards (Duress anyone?) or with a bolt if you're splashing red.

Yeah, I was too distracted by Surgical Extraction/Unwinding clock to notice Mindcrank..
I'm thinking the Bloodchief + Mindcrank might end up working better on an aggro deck by then.. probably will be much safer. We'll see!
