first off this is an old combo that most experienced players know because its been restricted, and in response to counter spell, unless u played first u wont hav any mana to spend to play counter

It's things like this that make Force of Will a $30 card.

I do remember this combo but yeah, essentially all the pieces are restricted, it used to be a lot of fun though.

Yes it will. That's not an additional cost... It's like if something tells you to discard but you aren't holding anything.

Look up the gatherer text on it. Trust me, it won't come into play if you don't have a land.
