Likes and comments/suggestions are appreciated!Flavor text: "Great devotion yields great reward."This deck is all about getting out Angels to beatdown your opponent. The main win condition is dealing combat damage to your opponent, but it also has elements of control and burn to help you out.
The theme of this deck is, of course, Angels! That being said, the Angels in this deck offer a nice variety of smackdown abilities as well as protection/control abilities.Archangel of Tithes is a great protection card as it makes your opponent have to pay an additional 1 mana to attack you per creature when she's untapped, and they have to pay an additional 1 mana per creature to block you when she's tapped (and, presumably, attacking). Avacyn is another great protection angel that makes all of your permanents indestructible.Iona is another great protection Angel as, of course, she will shut down a deck depending on the colors it uses. If you're facing a multi-color deck, I'd recommend trying to find a spot for Painter's Servant from the sideboard - as this combination effectively shuts down any deck.Gisela operates as both a smackdown and protection Angel as she will double the damage you do from -all- sources, and half the damage your opponents do from -all- sources.Aurelia the Warleader is another fantastic Angel that will give you another combat phase after the first.Herald of War can become a huge Angel and for each +1/+1 counter she gets she will reduce the cost of casting Angels. Firemane Avenger helps you deal additional damage and gain life with her Batallion ability. The rest of the cards in this deck shouldn't require explanation. As always, I hope you enjoy this deck!
