With the spoiler of Yearling Kavu, I feel a rebirth of Fires of Yavimaya will soon be upon us. While not an exact replica, the deck holds lots of similarities of the deck of old.Fires of Yavimaya : This card was been replaced by Rhythm of the Wild to which I think is great upgrade. Making our creatures hit the field uncontested and making them bigger OR a small buff is amazing.Blastoderm : I miss this guy so much, essentially a 3 mana 5/5 beat stick. While probably not as good anymore I feel Vine Mare is suitable, while losing out on 2 toughness, he gains hexproof and a majority of decks can't block him anyways.Chimeric Idol : In the deck of old this was the way to dodge sorcery speed removal. While there is no "exact" replacement, I feel Gruul Keyrune does a good back up job, while providing some ramp if our dorks go down, but also being a 3/2 with trample is good as well since in the mid-late we'll have the mana to toss into it.Flametongue Kavu : The absolute beat stick of a removal piece. With the spoiler of Flametongue Yearling I feel this is as close as you can get and with Rhythm out it becomes a 2RR 4/3 deal 4. So different mana adjustment for essentially the same card.Saproling Burst : Now this card I cannot find any replacement for. There is nothing like it in the modern meta that has the same amount of burst capacity as this card. The only "like" card I found was the depressing Gelatinous Genesis , which at most when played on T4 can make two 2/2s, and only be useful if you have fervor out because Rhythm doesn't grant tokens riot so no haste. Hopefully with the spoiling of Flametongue Yearling, Saproling Burst won't be too far behind.Non Fires Related CardsUntamed Kavu : This is to just help play on curve in case I draw no dorks in my opening hand, but still want to go T2-T4 with something. I debated adding in Thornscape Battlemage but with Yearling now I Don't need that much removalGlorybringer : Essentially Flametongue Kavu if he was on steroids. Great cost, great stats, great abilities, just a great compliment to Flametongue Yearling. There we have it, any suggestions feel free to ask!

I'm debating that. I really don't know if I can splash white to fit the derm in. :/
