Volrath is one of my favorite characters from Magic lore, so I was super psyched when they made a new version of him for Commander 2019. I decided to go wide instead of focusing on any individual aspect of the deck, counters matter and proliferate is rampant, and there's a smattering of infect for good measure, as befits a chosen of Phyrexia.The idea is to play synergistic creatures, copy them with Volrath to gain a powerful piece that can really pound the opponent and win through commander damage, infect, or just generating enough value.
