Hello and welcome to the Orzhov church's Tokens of Terror, hosted by the scion of Karlov herself, Tesya!Teysa, Orzhov Scion is one of the most oppressive ladies out there, able to sacrifice a few measly tokens to exile the opponent's most frightening creatures. With the release of Teysa Karlov, the third rendition of the character, I decided to add in a few cards with the Afterlife Mechanic, and have other cards that enjoy being around when creatures die, her Death-Harmonicon effect will be phenominal with her first incarnation to take advantage of making more tokens to sacrifice and generate board advantage.Teysa, being in Orzhov her whole life, knows a thing or two about generating value.
There isn't really a specific way to win or combo waiting to happen, this deck is about gaining board advantage and gaining value wherever you can. Making tokens is a fantastic way to get Scion Teysa to clear the board, whether its for 5/5 crazy horses, popping out a veritable tide of Angels, or simply throwing a horde of tiny creatures or maybe a dragon or good old fashioned demon to stomp all over the opponent. There is also an aristocrats package in the deck, making for a solid Plan B to make the opponent pay whenever your creatures kick the bucket. And don't forget to gain a metric ton of life to buffer yourself from any shenanigans your opponents throw at you.
