This cube will be drafted before Theros Map games (on more on how to draft, see "How to Play," below). It is a flexible set of cards; if something is shattered beyond belief, it can be addressed, or if a color is too weak, we can strengthen it. However, a lot of these potential "balance" issues are addressed through the actual draft process; everyone has the same chance to draft the super good or super bad cards, and if one strategy is too strong, there is a chance it won't be possible to play that strategy every game, as a select number of cards in the cube will not be in the pool of cards that are drafted each time.
The Cube is shuffled. Each player is dealt 3 "packs" of 15 cards. The remaining cards in the Cube are set aside and will not be used this game. Each player looks at one of their packs, selects a card from it, and passes the remaining cards to the player to their right. This process is repeated until every player has picked 15 cards. Each player then looks at their second pack, selects a card from it, and passes the remaining cards to the player to their left. This process is repeated until every player has picked a total of 30 cards. Finally, each player looks at their last pack, selects a card from it, and passes the remaining cards to the player to their right. This process is repeated until every player has picked 45 cards. Each player then has 20-30 minutes to construct a deck from their 45 cards. The deck that they make must be at least 40 cards, and may contain any amount of basic land of any color (provided separate from the draft cards. Also, as a vague guideline, people often suggest 17/18 lands in a 40 card deck). So, about 22-23 of the 45 drafted cards can be expected to make the final list. Players may make adjustments to their decks, using any number of basic lands and the additional cards they drafted any time between games, but not once a match-up has been announced. This allows players to tweak their decks as they figure out what is working and what is not working. In each round of the Theros Map game, one match-up (selected after players move), will be played between the involved players using their draft decks IN PLACE of the decks that are fighting for that territory. A draft deck will never play a constructed deck. When a draft deck loses, the constructed deck that it was replacing is removed from the board, as though it had lost. The constructed deck of the winning player returns to the space.

Are the 15 card "packs" constructed in any way. Like, are there a certain number of rares, uncommons, and commons, or any 15 random cards?-Mike

15 random cards. This may seem a little unfair at times, if you somehow got an all common pack, but the fact that it's completely random and the fact that if you get an awful pack, you still get the best card from that pack, and everyone after you gets an even worse choice from it actually balances the experience quite well.
