because it prevents all combat damage for that turn and it would only be useless if i was fighting a wolf or werewolf deck and also because i don't know any other cards that do that even though i am pretty sure there are some

Its an elf deck. You sould play with it a bit and realize what you like most, then go with that. My bet is Joraga Warcaller, Elvish Champion, Elvish Archdruid and Imperious Perfect will be the cards you hope you draw next in many match's.
