Lightning Bolt
Yes this was actualy totally playable and no-one knew any different. Turn 1: Lightning Bolt 3 DamageTurn 2: Lightning Bolt 3 DamageTurn 3: Lightning Bolt 3 DamageTurn 4: Lightning Bolt 3 DamageTurn 5: Lightning Bolt 3 DamageTurn 6: Lightning Bolt 3 DamageTurn 7: Lightning Bolt 3 Damage and DeadLOL!!!Way back in the day, when Revised first kicked off, we had no internet to look up rules. We had to rely on that little crappy book that you got with the Revised starter pack. There were no 4 card limits and we had no reason to have a limit.EVERY game was played for ante.It said nothing in the rules about not being able to play more than 4 of a card....after all you could play more than 4 basic land cards..... I started out playing green and eventualy moved to other colours, however in my madness to swap all my other cards for anything green, (there were no card lists, so it was up to the individual to remember the rarity of the cards by noticing where they were placed in the booster or starter pack) I collected 40 Lightning Bolts and before the 4 card limit was established (probably because of people like me :)) I enjoyed a my reign as the Lightning Master with this killer deck that would win in 7 turns unless you could kill me first.I should have kept it as a joke, just to see the look on peoples faces when you played 1 Lightning Bolt per turn and then a 5th LOL. Obviously it would never be played seriously, but it would have been fun.:)

Nice. This sums up my "back in the day stories" too. We would of been shunned and embarrassed if we were to have went and tried to play at a Tournament.

Yeah true, However, back then I would have laughed at anyone who suggested playing Magic in a Tournament LOL :)
