Deck discussion for Selesnya Populate

Drop vitu-ghazi and add trostani, way better...
Drop wayfaring temple too man, u have grove of the guardian..
Since you have giant growth, could add some hunger of the howlpack maybe..

Check my deck and comment, I pass here again later,to check if you answered me or how the things are going ;P

what does grove of the guardian have to do with the populate effect allowed by wayfaring temple? I would add at least one copy of parallel lives. I run 3 main, one side. doubles all the populate effects, and Druids Deleverance should be a maindeck full playset. it stops all damage to you, and gets you a token copy (or more with PL)

ran this in standard play on monday, it worked well:

Vitu-Ghazi helps at being a 2 drop over a 4 drop...I tried Trostani, and yes he's awesome, but I ended up taking him out. Wayfaring temple is a great 3 drop, especially if he drops as a 3/3 and starts populating centaur tokens quickly.

Parallel Lives is an interesting idea--what would you take out for it? Also I'm still considering on DD--it's saved my life a few times, but it really worries me that it only prevents damage to you, so if you drop it and it gets dispelled, you take it all to the face instead of to your blockers. I'm still debating on that one. Thanks, though!

Commented on both your decks.

sorry so late, havent been on in awhile. I would remove 2 giant Growth for 2 Parallel Lives, to see if you like it in the deck, and go from there. the abilities stack, so running a full set wouldnt be redundant, and in fact, having more than one on the field would be impressive. the first one doubles the one token to two, the second one doubles the two to four, ect. 2 growing ranks + 2 Paralell Lives = 8 tokens at upkeep.

Looks pretty good. Definatly main Druid's Deliverance though. I would actually drop Cavern of Souls as you don't have a consistant creature type to take advantage of it. Also, in a populate deck I don't really see pumps like Rancor and Giant Growth very useful here. I would drop those and focus making your army and overwhelm rather than pump one or two creatures for a bit of extra damage.

Yeah, Cavern is mainly in here to make sure Armada Wurm resolves...not 100% certain how much I like it, as I need some pretty specific mana, and already get colorless from the Grove.

The main reason for Rancor is to help Wayfaring Temple's damage get through to populate, and Giant Growth is a great response card for stuff like Tragic Slip and others. I'll definitely check your deck out, though.
