Oh yeah... Rampagers... forgot about them. I think I could sub them for the Rubblehulks.

I suppose this would work, but if I was going to go that way, then I would ditch the the Wild Beastmasters as well. The whole point of those creatures is to use them to Bloodrush the Beastmaster, making all my attacking creatures insane. They are dual purpose. If I was just going to go with cheap and fast creatures, I would dump the Beastmasters, as I would only have the Giant Growths to pump him up, instead of all the Bloodrushers.

Type your deck name...Yeah, I forgot about the Boar. Was also thinking about maybe putting some Scorchwalkers in instead.

Good call on the Skullcrack. Need something to shut down those pesky Sphinx's Revelations. 8)

What should I sub in? They're there for Bloodrush, not for hard cast. The Disciples let me chip away, and Domri finds me Bloodrushers.

Type your deck name...Looking for advice, as I am taking this deck to a Standard tourney in a month. Thinking of adding a Savageborn Hydra or two, looking for other ideas.

Not bad. I like some of the interactions. Maybe trhwo in some Tracker's Instince? It will get creatures into your graveyard even quicker. And maybe throw a Boneyard Worm or Splinterfright or two in... cheap drops, and when you get lots of creatures into the graveyard, look out!

I like this. I think the Blind Obedience is the kicker... it will shut down almost anything, and let's you start boosting that Stromkirk immediately by giving it a couple of free rides to build counters. And Silverbladed Hellriders..... oooooh. 8)

Thanks! I was wondering about the Captina's Call... it fits flavour-wise, but is too damn expensive. Same as Captain of the Watch... in theory, it look slike it would be awesome in a deck like this, but its casting cost is absurd. I hadn't thought about Rally.... I kept thinking in terms of Soldiers, not Humans. Good call. I like the Hellrider and Zealot idea, and the Zealot is human, so it would benefit from the Rally. I need more Cathar's Crusdae... I only have one. I agree, that would be a nice add.

I'll have to see if I can drum up an event deck for Boros.

Thanks for the tips!

Type your deck name...Looking for help with the sideboard for sure. Also, would like ideas on something to pump my soldiers other than Break of Day (go back to the Captains of the Watch? other ideas?), and looking for some other cards to put in.

I had thought about throwing the Ulvenwald Tracker in, for exactly the purpose you mentioned. Hadn't thought of Ambush Viper. I'm debating about taking out the Nightshade Peddlers, and putting some instants in that give deathtouch instead.... maybe sub them out for the Vipers and some instants?
I like putting the Garruk and Liliana in as well, because if I can get one of them out while Vraska is out as well, it provides a good cover of misdirection, and multiple threats for an opponent to deal with.

Testing this deck shows that it is SURPRISINGLY fast. The only deck that really troubles it is Selesnya aggro, and control can slow it down significantly. Any advice on improving either the main deck or sideboard?

This deck is a work in progress. In testing, it tends to get owned by aggro decks, and is a coin-flip to control. Looking for advice on how to speed it up, and still be an effective transportation device to get Vraska's assassins into play for the win.

What do you mean by "instabil"? (I'm not up on my Magic jargon, apparently. 8) )

I want to fit some more duals in.... I want one more Sunpetal Grove for sure, and hopefully some Selesnya Guildgates, and whatever other new multis I can get my hands on.

I thought about running 4 Devotions maindeck, but I found that most of the time, if I could get one Devotion out, I was usually very close to being able to flachback it in a turn or two. But, I will take this into consideration. Should I just do a straight swap for the Phantom Generals, or use the freed up sideboard slot for something better?

Overseer looks good... just might be expensive/hard to find.

Thanks for the advice!

Would Searing Spear be a better card than Rolling Temblor? I like Temblor because of flashback....

I keep flip-flopping on Diregraf Ghoul. I prefer Butcher Ghouls because I can sac them to my Bone Splinters or Grimgrin, and get them back at a premium.

The Dispels and Essence Scatters are in there to replace the Negates I used to have in there, although I think Cancel is back in RtR, so I was thinking of subbing them out in favor of Cancels?

My advice is, get rid of the Maalfeld Twins, maybe the Warpath Ghouls, add some Gerlaf's Messengers.

I am going to be rebuilding this deck... I got 4 Lashwrithes. I am thinking of maybe changing this up a little, adding blue, so I can run Blighted Agents. I have been grabbing anything I can find with Infect, so I might change it up, to see if I can find an effecting vector to deliver the Infection via unblockables with Lashwrithes.

Since you have birds, if you wanna mess with someone, put in a couple of Flings. Then, when the ghoultree comes out, voila.... 10 points of damage catapulted to the face.

I don't think you can consider this a terrible card. In early Stasis lockdwon decks, this card was CRITICAL. Only drawback was it's expensive activation cost.
