I did this combo instead of Squirrel Nest + Earthcraft because Earthcraft is banned in legacy

Intruder Alarm + Squirrel Nest + Arbor Elf / Krosan Restorer / any land untapper for infinite squirrels. I made a fun experimental legacy deck off of this. Check it out :) http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=385733
Try making room for leyline of the meek and leyline of vitality. They work really well in this deck since it is token based and they seem less out of place then leyline of sanctity. Otherwise it's a great deck.
Love the deck, but you're a little two mana heavy and you have a weak endgame. Consider taking out psychic barriers and putting in mistform warchiefs and draining whelks.
you may want to add dark rituals for 1) mana accel and 2) the ability to actually get phyrexian obliterator onto the field without needing a quicksilver amulet. finally try vampire nighthawks instead of child of nights and consider using a little more swamps than plains since the mana symbol occurrence is weighted a little more than 50/50.
Love the deck. I feel like it would be really fun to play with and annoying to play against :) In my opinion though, i would sideboard the suppression fields and i would put in soul barriers instead. also consider norn's annex and isolation cell. But all-in-all nice original deck idea :)
take out a few cards (possibly the contagion engines) for wellwishers. also sideboard some elvish champions just in case you go up against a green deck and you want to be completely unblockable :)
I agree with all the comments from PrinceRurisk. You definitely need rituals in a mono black deck and as a vamp deck you are missing feast of blood. Also in a vamp deck i like using bloodlord of vaasgoth if he is available. Here is what i tried with vampires. Hope it helps out. http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=192867
You definitely have a good start but you're missing some awesome vamps like drana and nirkana. plus i have to agree with kungfutrooper786, a vamp deck needs feast of blood in it. here is what i tried to do with vamps, hope it helps. http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=192867
since your combos are artifact based you may want to add some crystal veins in order to get them out a little faster.
thanks for the advice :) it also helped me get first turn reanimates with dark ritual + exhume/animate dead + putrid imp/raven's crime. good call
http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=211717 Reanimator that works pretty well as a quick win condition with iona etc. but also works well as a fun casual deck.
you cant reanimate the gods. if they go in your graveyard they just get shuffled back into your deck.
Also, I like Corrupt as supposed to Tendrils of Darkness. It is the same thing for a little more mana that has the option to deal damage to the opponent instead of a creature.
I suggest Urge to Feed. It's 2 mana for a -3/-3 on target creature plus you tap as many vampires as you want when you play it. Then, each vampire that was tapped gets a +1/+1 counter. It's just a nice vampire accessory card. And maybe sideboard some Go For The Throats so that your Doom Blades aren't useless against a black deck.
Try out using Khalni Hydra. And possibly take out a few spells and add more creatures. It might change the point of the deck in a way but i just like the card and it goes with the hydra theme.
This deck is really good. I ran a few sample hands and got big eldrazi out on as little as my fourth turn. The only problem with this deck is... what did it cost to make it?! lol
I know this is basically the same thing as 4 Turn Burn by DARKHAWK but I think it is slightly better with lightning bolts instead of volcanic hammers and with some gambles just in case you don't have a Hidetsuga's Second Rite.
try gravity wells. they deal with flying perfectly in my green decks and they only have a converted mana cost of 3.
Thank you for the good suggestions. I think I will replace the vessels with furnace scamps to handle both problems.
