The soul of a mono green deck. Omnath is the commander because this deck was built facing off against decks that used commanders to search the deck for what was needed when it was needed. He provides pressure early, and can win fast. He also provides utility in the mid and late game to pull off massive turns. It never feels like you can't win, and every victory is had knowing (imho) that you earned it by being awesome. There are no instant win combos. There are no tutors. The deck does not need it. It is very much the green playstyle. Go big and win!
You make Omnath big fast and give him trample. Then you win on commander damage. I give this deck to people I'm recruiting into the game/format. It is singularly satisfying to yeet 65 mana into a genesis wave and just annihilate everyone in an unstoppable wave.
