Black control. Kills stuff. Kills everything. Win with Remorseless Punishment or wee little creatures.
Kill everything your opponent puts out. Use destruction spells on creatures first because "sacrifice a creature" becomes more efficient late game. This deck uses three mana. You have to have it. If you draw a hand with three or more mana, keep it. If you get one mana, mulligan it. If you get two, use your best judgment.Creatures with hexproof can be gotten rid of with sacrifice mechanics. Creatures that give hexproof should be killed as soon as possible. Don't hesitate to Languish your own creatures. As long as you have two dutiful attendants or one sanitarium skeleton in (not your library or exile), you are good to go. (Please, somebody inform me on the word for "not in your library or exile.")Sinister Concoction is cheap mana wise but expensive in other costs. It is included to provide a clear and tangible threat to your opponent. Early game when you do not have piles of mana it will provide an incentive for the opponent to hold their best or most valued creatures in their hand. Don't use it if you can use another spell instead. Doing so makes your opponent relax. That is bad.Play your creatures when you get them. If you can, sacrifice something other than Fleshbag Marauder when it enters the battlefield. Never put all four Dutiful Attendants in your graveyard. Doing so can be problematic, because you need a creature to attack with and all the skeletons could be hiding in the bottom of the library.Sideboard: Does your opponent have plainswalkers? If yes, do not take out Ruinous Path or To the Slaughter.Virulent Plague is for tokens. Swap out Remorseless Punishment and Vampiric Rites to combat them.Self Inflicted Wound is better than Foul Tongue Invocation, but only if your opponent is playing green or white. If you are playing against mill deck, put in the Tooth Collector cards to bulk up your library a bit. Don't take anything out.Aligned Hedron Network does not target and can deal with big indestructible creatures. If your opponent is playing big creatures, put this in. I recommend swapping it out with Sword of the Animist.
