This deck was born of a desire to make the one deck to take on anyone else's deck. It has minor problems facing control, but it was my most feared std deck.
Patience is key. Keep the battlefield clear on the enemy's side, and ping them to death with your creatures. The alternative win is the chalice of life. It provides a bit of time to draw into creatures when facing damage dealing decks and kicks over into a serious threat. Liliana provides three functions. She thins the deck by reducing the land in it, making spells more likely to be drawn. She is a repeatable kill spell. She distracts some players from attacking you. The way I play, If I get the emblem it means I'm bored and waiting to draw into a win condition.Contaminated ground is evil. I've played people who keep a hand with two land or less. If you rob them of that mana, they are dependent upon drawing more. The odds are in your favor that they will be screwed out of a couple turns of productivity if you play them early game. Play the card aggressively early in the game, and bluff with it late game.Typhoid Rats is a cheap kill spell. It doubles as a creature and can win the game, but it is primarily used to save spells in hand for priority targets.
