If you ever go Legacy of Vintage with this thing or possibly EDH with it you should rock Lightning Helix and Razia's Purification.

I thought about more counter spells, but remand fit the theme better, it more-or-less just bounces the spell back to their hand and you draw a card. Although I had not thought about adding scroll theif... Intermeresting...
I like this deck man, very solid. Only thing i can think of is maybe running 4 Halimar Depths instead of the Islands to increase the deck manipulation. Plus if i were to run the deck i'd use more nighthawks, only because with the Mimic Vat you can attack every turn and you're guaranteed 2 life and possibly killing another one of their creatures. But again, that's just what i'd do. I do like the Specter idea though!

Throne of Geth will proliferate faster than the engine, especially if you're using the portal to create extra artifacts for it to sacrifice...

Wow, thanks for all the comments. Edna and drumhead got it right... The blanket effect is great! Most of it is milling, but Thada exiles artifacts which is way more interesting in the current standard environment. Thrummingbird's just give Venser back any loyalty he's used. Very fun!
Because I would have laughed if it was some state (Alaska, Hawaii) with only like 50 people playing... and you got 34th... but ya didn't, so good for you!
