You're going to want more than 14 lands in a deck. And I really don't see a purpose for the 2 Urborgs in the deck...
I have a suggestion: Dismantle this deck and never, ever think about making something like this again.
Uhmm... you don't have any lands.... You might want to work on that.
I'd take the white out and splash a different color. Here's my deck: http://mtgvault.com/viewdeck.php?did=2775
This deck is pretty much the precon from the Ravnica set called Dimir Intrigues with a few other cards in it. That's it.
Lightning Axe would not work in this deck EchaniDrgn, it only targets creatures.
Your deck is only 50 cards... The minimum is 60.
That's why those aren't in there. Except for my Affinity deck, I like to keep my decks as legal as possible.
I would also go with 4 copies of the original Thallid card, For G, it's really cheap and it get's things started.
I would definitely go with Doubling Season. I'd also refine your pool of cards, you seem to have a lot of singles. If you take some of those out and put more of some others in, you have a better chance of getting what you want.
I agree, you're really lacking in the creature department.
I know, I might take out some of the Wing Shards for mana, I'm not sure that I really need them.
This deck looks alot like the preconstructed Black deck from 8th edition. In fact, this is it. I have it. And it's not even very good. Legal decks are also at least 60 cards. This one is only 40, it's for beginners.
No problem.
I'm not sure if the sword would work out that well. If it equipped a 1/1creature whenever one came into play, then I might go for it. As for the mentor, I'm not sure how my mana is going to work out. I'll see if I can do without it. If not, I'll definitely consider it.
Also, I'd the switch the grapeshot with something like Lightning Bolt or Lava Spike.
Some Browbeat would make an excellent addition. Your opponent has to choose whether or not to take 5 damage or let you draw cards. Either way, you win.
Can I suggest Beloved Chaplain? He's a 1/1 Cleric for 1W but he has protection from creatures. I also disagree with vaultatog on his comment, as I'm also working on a mono-white cleric deck. You don't need black.
