No this deck is relatively slow because you played my lich lord. Against its current form its pathetically slow. I was thinking infests and possibly agony. That way i can outlast the opponent. Normally it would be crazy ovinize casting with djinn but i subbed him out for the ravens.

Might i suggest diabolic tutor for searching for your win con? and since your playing all artifacts (because of that one artifact that makes everything an artifact) darksteel forge and reactor work well.
dpopinski dont make me break out a standard mill on you next time i see you over :P Anyways zaplight's mill is pretty powerful but id take out induced. They cost too much to counter even if their effect is relatively decent. Rune snags or mana leaks are much better. plus if they do decide to tap out on mana to stop the counters you can be sure they cant do anything against the rest of the deck. Also consider raven guild master instead of the adept. Its a 1 turn drop sure but it wont last long with its effect. specially since people can splash red for lightning bolts. For back up maybe whispersilk cloaks and robe of mirrors. That way creatures wont die. Personally cloaks i think are better cuz it enables you to save the nemesis just in case they have something to block and kill with. Other than that the deck is quite solid.
This deck is based on dealing damage to the opponent by forcing them to draw and discard. If i eventually add a cemetery reaper into this deck his creatures will come back to kill him for me :) so in that sense i built the deck so that he would be forced to discard and also be forced to draw. Burning inquiry doesnt work so well in this deck cuz i need my hand to have hand control and most of the spells already force him to discard more than he draws. The magus and dragon mage are there to force him to discard and then replenish his hand in order to make him lose that life with counterspells to stop any disenchants and stuff.
This deck idea is based on burn and aiming everything at the opponent. odds are im not going to kill the creatures if i can race my way to game aiming 1 cost spells at people. great for casual 1 on 1 but would get killed in multiplayer.
In my opinion the light of sanctions would protect your creatures from hammerfist. The text say prevent all damage that would be deal to creatures you control by a source you control. Although hammerfist says it deals damage to each creature its a source you control and its dealing dmg to your creatures as well so it would be prevented by that spell. As for the deck its really nice except you might want to look into red mana accelerations. Seething songs or possibly soulbright kithkin can really boost up your mana. That or have land cycle cards like chartooth cougar. That way you will always have enough mana to summon your guys fast. I envy you guys being able to play 3v3s and such :/ there arent that many players i can play against where i live.
Yeah thats true but if case be i maybe should maindeck the dragon mage but what i really want to test with this deck is niv mizzet the firemind. That card would be like an F-bomb dropped in with his abilities :P
i can see numot the devastator working really well if you incorporated him into the deck :P
ohh yeah but thats the old glimpse deck. This deck has just been proxied in so you can test it out whenever :D i need a guinea pig for it :P
its from army of darkness. That quite inspired this deck XD
Im not sure but im thinking about adding Nicol Bolas and Jace Beleren into this deck but the problem is they are alot slower than this deck and will probably get me killed if I attempt to allocate resources to summoning them. Any thoughts?
Theres a bit too much of milling cards already specially if i can bring them back with dralnu. Memory sluice is definitely replacing teachings but snags are to deal with creatures and necrosages for replenishing the hand or make the opponent top deck. Twincast is going a bit far considering the amount of mill this is dropping on a person. That card is for multiplayers or people who can replenish their decks. As for unearth aggro, it wont get thrash against cuz raven removes them from game and unearth plays only from the graveyard. although if i were to just go milling without ever attacking then that would be the case.
Very interesting deck and has great potential but im thinking maybe put in some megrims since you are forcing your opponent to discard. Although you do have alot of hand control in this deck, it wont be useful in most late games when people either top deck or play with fewer than the drop amounts stated in your effects so megrims get those early points of damage in just in case.
Maybe Bogardan Hellkite? It does 5 dmg every time it comes into play and its a solid 5/5 with flash and flying meaning you can burn them on their turn and then attack on yours. possibly dragonstorm it with hellkites and the fireblast dragons.
So this deck is pretty much complete except for the ravens and jaces but other than that everything else is bagged. Sideboard wise its my old glimpse copy deck that is great for both multi and solo playing because i can copy the spells as many times as i wish as long as i have the mana and choose different targets so it is possible to deck multiple people out. Main deck wise shroud keeps teferi safe from targets meaning i control the board then whispersilks can be used with nemesis of ravens depending on which one is out. Spells can be reused by dralnu and mana can be charged up by reefs.
This deck will be changed once i get a chance to get Ravenguild Master and Jace Beleran but basically it uses lich lord and the slivers to mill the opponent early on until illuminatus comes out to copy glimpse or tome enough times to deck people out. Theres backup for spells with countersquall and rune snag for creatures. Sideboard wise its good for replaying spells and stopping extremely strong creatures. Although this deck's win con is mill with ovinize back in the deck it can still push through with attacks to win as well if you need to race in for a victory.
