I thought about those. Not sure what to swap for. I'll probably sidebar for now and play-test with and without them.

like the build but I would suggest rootborn defense for your sb over riot control. I get that it helps activate your life gain but you need to protect against the board wipes and gods willing/brave the elements can only do so much.

I added some in the sidebar, but I'm not sure if I'll keep it. Populate is worthless in this deck and it's a three cost where Brave the Elements is a one cost and does the same thing. I know it's not exactly the same, but what deck is gonna have two different color board wipes and use them at the same time. I'm not certain I need more 'protection'. I think those spots might be better filled with say pacifism or arrests.

seems like there could be a better one drop that soldier of the pantheon.... not sure though... maybe http://www.mtgvault.com/card/hopeful-eidolon/THS/

Yeah I considered those guys. I went with Soldier of the Pantheon because it's easier life gain. I don't have to attack with him to get it. Each time they cast a multicolor spell +1. Not to mention protection from multicolored is amazing. I think I have some Hopeful Eidolons laying around I might play-test with though.
