Deck Description

This deck is based of the most ferocious creatures of Ancient Greece, The Minotaur, tame this veil creatures and completely beat down your opponent to their knees. If beating your opponent isn't your style I heard Minotaur's like their meat medium rare...

How to Play

Aside of the very weird description, the deck is based of two deck styles put in one, it's partially aggro and a burner. To start off I will divide the sections according to the decks duo playing style, I'll start off with the aggro portion then the burner portion.

To start off the aggro portion we will mention the most important card of the deck Ragemonger, his a three mana cost creature for a great effect of reducing the cost of Minotaur's spell by one red mana and one black mana, he gives you the benefit of quickly casting your creatures. The second card is Kragma Warcaller he gives all Minotaur creatures haste and when Minotaur's attack he gives them a +2/+0 boost, which i'm assuming that's the reason they call him Warcaller, but nevertheless not every war can be won with sheer power so Felhide Petrifier gives your Minotaur's the great ability of deathtouch. We all hate those annoying beat sticks so a small deathtouch on your Minotaur wouldn't kill anyone :), finally we got the great Gnarled Scarhide, for one black mana with 2/1 is never bad but if you patiently wait he might be worth 0 mana thanks to your Ragemonger.

As for the burner portion Boros Reckoner can't be ignore in this deck, his a three red or three white mana cost with 3/3 power, but his ability makes your opponent think twice about attacking. Any damage he takes your opponent takes direct damage to their life meaning that if he defends a 7/7 creature your opponent takes 7 damage directly, not to shabby huh, and as for the cherry on top for one red mana or white he gains first strike. The second card is Fanatic of Mogis thanks to the fact that almost all your Minotaur's are red mana cost he can inflict damage according to your devotion, which takes us back to Boros Reckoner he gives three devotion to red also the reason why his in the deck. Felhide Spiritbinder glues both portions of the deck together thanks to his awesome ability whenever his untapped you may pay one colorless and one red mana to copy a creature in a form of an enchantment plus there other typing's, meaning that you may copy for another Fanatic of Mogis to keep burning or another Boros Reckoner or even for another Warcaller to keep giving them those +2/+0 boost, I mean it's all according to the situation but the fact you get an extra copy of another creature is great.

The instants are all self explanatory but just for a quick review Cruel feeding gives lifelink to your creatures and not to mention a +1/+0 boost, remember all your cards are some what pricey so gaining life back isn't bad. Doom Blade is for protection purposes that's as simple as it's going to get, as for Rakdos Charm it's all according to the situation exile your opponent cards if needed to; or destroy an artifact that is annoying you; or just burn your opponent it's all up to you. The Whip is just there to return a creature and to give them lifelink honestly one is just fine any more and it will become a dead draw. Sign in Blood is your small draw engine to get to your combo pieces quicker; or in rare cases win a duel. Of course the deck isn't playable without mana so 22 land is about the right number, as for the sideboard it's open for your liking but I wanted to add a Boon of Erebos and the Devour of Flesh if things aren't going right with a heavy aggro deck, and finally if things go bad who can't rely on a God someone needs to turn the tables, Purphoros is your man thanks to the fact his indestructible and he needs red devotion to become a creature *hint hint* he can scare your opponent of there feet, but if your opponent didn't jump than just burn the fellow after each summoning...remember to tell him FEEL THE BURN BABY!

Thanks for reading and please leave any comments or suggestion towards the deck i'm still in progress of updating it... :)

*UPDATE*
I ended up removing the Mana Confluence and added the Rageblood Shaman to give the Minotaur's Trample which can enhance the aggro portion of the deck :) Someone has to remind those Minotaur's what the horns are for.
I wanted to give thanks to Mcdom34 for suggesting the card.

I like the deck and all the minotaurs! I don't see why Mana Confluence is in here though. I know Reckoner may call for it, but with so many other red sources, I don't see him being hard to cast.

Love the minotaurs. Inspires me to do something similar with the pile I have of the horned buggers.
