Omnath adds in a permanent mana pool also creating a big creature. Quests allow for blockers since you're tapping a ton of creatures each turn. I've already ordered more ascetisms, plus adding in Spine of Ish Sah, a seven-drop artifact that destroys target permanents. (Take that Valakut!)
