i would do furnace of rath instead of gratuitous violence but thats just me. Only because furnace is any damage, and gratuitous is only damage delt by creatures, otherwise good

if you have mono black why do you still have the flatts and catacombs....they just deal 1 damage to you to find a swamp that would be better already in the deck in place of the flatts and catacombs....just a suggestion

i dont know much about braid of fire i just saw one person using it in an eldrazi deck, and he was getting 8 mana from it at one point, but idk ill take it out after i figure out more...ik it doesnt empty every step though

i just added pact of negation...and adding tutors is a preference, i personally feel more comfortable with mulliganing, but the original creator of the deck had a lot more tutors that i cut out. Hope this helps man...my cheaper turn three win deck would be what you would want to buy if you were making this deck, it costs a lot less money.
