Deck Description

One of my all time favorite decks. The primary thing it lacks is a card that reveals hands like thoughtsieze, or any reliable form of life gain so please help me out and make suggeestions on how I can incorporate those strategies into the deck.

SIDEBOARD NOTES: Glimpse the Unthinkable is only there to show you that you should substitute it for Tome Scour if you have the money.

Mana Confluence is not in the sideboard, I only put it there to show you that you should substitute them for one island and one swamp, should you have the money...

All other cards are there for however many you want of a certain card to adapt to your version and/or play-style for this deck.

How to Play

My one piece of advice as you use this deck: be extra careful how and when you use each card, and try and stack up effects. If you want to know about stacked effects, read Synergies. down below. v

OVERALL STRATEGIES AND THOUGHT PROCESSES:
-Beat down/Strong creatures: Consuming Abberration, Jace's Phantasm, Wight of Precinct six, ??? Lazav, Dimir Mastermind, ??? Entering
-Drawing or scrying: Jace, Memory Adept, Pilfered Plans, Dissolve
-Counter: Dissolve, Psychic Strike
-Kill spell: Hero's Downfall
-Using creatures against my opponent: Lazav, Dimir Mastermind, Entering
-Lifegain: Profane Memento

SYNERGIES/COMBOS/COOL COMBINED EFFECTS:

Lazav, Dimir Mastermind + Hero's Downfall= Kill a creature and get a hexproof version of it.

Lazav, Dimir Mastermind + Breaking + Entering= Mill 8 and get a hexproof version of one milled creature, and another one of the creatures to your field with haste.

Phenax, God of Deception + tap Consuming Aberration + cast a spell every turn = super strong creature, super mill, and 1-4 turns you win.

Jace's Phantasm + Glimpse the unthinkable/Jace Memory Adept = Easy 5/5 with flying for 1-3 mana plus mill around 1/6th of their deck

Consuming Aberration + any mill card = A little extra mill than you expected plus a buff creature

Consuming Aberration + casting spells/milling for 2 or more turns + Haunting Echoes = a nearly completely milled out deck and/or a locker full of hurt with lots of important exiled cards**

**if my opponent keeps 4 copies of a card in a deck it must be pretty essential to the deck's strategy, so exiling 2-4 copies of an important card is always fun when its not you and will dismantle entire deck strategies sometimes, allowing you to progress at a normal pace or faster, while your opponent struggles without those cards.
