why would you limit yourself to modern legal cards if you are designing a deck for pauper? aside from the actual pauper ban list, pauper includes the entire (common) card pool.that being said this does look pretty good.

It's pauper in spirit only. I mainly say it's pauper because by definition it is, but I didn't set out to make a pauper deck. I set out to build a fun, decent modern-legal deck for as little money as possible. I'd say $12-20 is pretty damn good.EDIT: I just realized it's not actually pauper. Burning-Tree Emissary is uncommon. Woops!
Ah, I see. Budget modern deck, ended up being pauper legal. Lol. ??In that case yeah, this is a fantastic budget deck.
Burning-Tree Emissary is pauper legal due to the masters reprint.
But talara's battalion isn't.
Four Lightning Bolts aren't much budget
Lightning Bolt is like $2, so yeah, 4 them is still pretty budget.
But its good aggro anyway
I solidly believe this deck needs more overrun. Also, so far has been really fun to play.
I have taken your comment into consideration, and have concluded the following: more overrun.I've only ever cast it in one game at this point, but whatever. It's a solid add.
