Deck discussion for Casual - Fastbond Landfall

Zuran Orb Crucible of Worlds to break it. Otherwise, nice deck. I did the same with a Hedron Crab.

Yeah, I have another deck on here designed around the 1st turn win with Crucible.

The intention for this one was to try to create a less broken version that would be more fun to play against while still being effective.

You should consider Oracle of Mul Daya. I use it in my (wouldbe) Landfall deck.

I actually think that might slow this build down. The objective I had here was really to burst the landfall using sprouting vines and fastbond.

what about adding terramorphic expansion or a fetch land card so you can double the land drop in one turn?

Very cool deck! Any reason you don't bother changing the lands in to creatures? That ability + timbre protector would be pretty sweet in a deck like this...

In fact, I may build my own version of this deck...

I like it!

It's been awhile since I even looked at this deck. Really the thing it is mostly missing is fetchlands to get additional landfall triggers.

Turning the lands into creatures doesnt really do anything by itself (actually it hurts me), and Timber Protector doesnt really do anything for me by itself either.

Adding in more high cmc spells would just slow down the intended result here which is to storm with Sprouting Vines to play a bunch of lands in one turn. With a Lotus Cobra and a Horn of Greed in play this lets the combo chain continue until you can play a Rampaging Baloth and start making beast tokens.
