Deck Description

The idea of the deck is to play Esperzoa and keep returning and playing Parasitic Strix. This takes 2 life from your opponent and gives 2 life to you. Replaying artifacts also powers up Glassdust Hulk making them unblockable and +1/+1 stronger. Rinse and repeat with the Esperzoa each turn and attacking with Glassdust Hulk to win and the Etherium Sculptors help keep mana costs down for each resummoning with the Strix only being 2 mana a pop with 1 Etherium Sculptor. Sphinx Summoner help with this combo as well as it allows you to go through your deck to find what you need and is also a decent flier being 3/3.

Deck discussion for Esper Resummoning

One thing: Parasitic Strix only works when u have a black permanent and the only one in this deck is executioner's capsule, and there's only one of those in the deck But besides that, very nice extended deck.

You also have the Swamps and other creatures that require Black mana to cast. I'm pretty sure they count as Black permentants, please correct me if I'm wrong otherwise I'll have to find a work around.

"A permanent is only a permanent if it is in play. If a card's rules text refers to a 'permanent card,' it is referring to a card with one of the following card types: creature, land, artifact, enchantment or planeswalker."

Thats from MTG wikia.

true but what i'm pointing out is that is are any of them black. I know the swamps are not, they're colorless (no mana cost, no color), and looking at the stats to the right theres only 4 black mana symbols compared to the 42 blue ones.

The definition does include land within it and since Swamp is a land (obviously), it coems under the category of a permenant.

Also, when I get a terramorphic expanse, the first land I usually go for is a Swamp, unless I already have one and then it's whether I need Islands or Plains.

Ah, I see what you mean. I've had a few slow days. I'll have to find a work around on that then.
