Deck Description

Merfolk Swarm Deck that with just a few minor exceptions, is composed of essentially three types of creature cards.

1) Merfolk who beef each other up.
2) Merfolk who offer ways to be unavoidable (islandwalk, unblockable)
3) Merfolk who can transform your enemies lands into islands, long enough to allow your team to slip right through their defenses.

With a few spells thrown in the sideboard to help overcome any disadvantages you might find yourself in.

How to Play

The Deck is pretty simple. Each turn is pretty much played the same; Get land, tap land, play Merfolk. Get land, tap land, play Merfolk. It doesn't take long at all to build an entire front line of combatants and before you know it they start benefiting off of each other. At this point your objective is to either zerg the enemies front lines, or to clear a path to go for the players life total itself.

The deck itself is pretty straight forward, the strategy is more -when- to go all out and -when- to stand your ground, but aside from that it's designed to essentially play itself. Though if the enemy has an Blue deck the sideboard can be shuffled in to replace Reef Shaman, Steambed Aquatects, Tidal Warrior, and Tideshaper Mystic.

The cards in the sideboard were also designed to help against decks that have strong spells or creatures that -need- to be taken care of in some way. Though if the opponent has no islands, it's up to personal judgement to which cards should be substituted.
