My Stasis deck exactly as it is IRL. This is my go-to deck when some mean alpha nerd puts a beatdown on my soldiers or elves. For those unfamiliar, Stasis is a fun way to lock the whole game down. The only real win scenario is with the Vise, or perhaps milling them. Generally the goal is to taunt your opponent as you fill up their hand with spells they will never play. This almost invariably results in the opponent scooping up their cards and conceding, likely as they curse your name under their breath. Fun times. The technique does require a little grace and foresight. Early game is spent using counters and bouncing to keep the board clean, all the while setting yourself up for success. Arcane Lab if things get out of hand too early. All you really need is an Isochron scepter with a bounce spell on it, Stasis, and 4 mana. Drop Stasis on your Main 2 and bounce it back to your hand at the end of their turn. At this point they are denied an untap phase for the rest of the game. From here you just increase the draw rate, drop a Vise, and deny the occasional spell they manage to conjure with fresh-played land.

IMPORTANT RULINGS ABOUT ISOCHRON SCEPTER: 10/4/2004: If this card leaves the battlefield while the ability to make a copy is on the stack, the ability will still make a copy using the last-known-information rule. *^*This means if they hose your scepter in response to using it, you still get to cast that last copy*^* 12/1/2004: Isochron Scepter's second ability creates a copy of the imprinted card in the Exile zone (that's where the imprinted Instant card is), then allows you to cast it without paying its mana cost. 12/1/2004: You can't cast the copy if an effect prevents you from casting Instants or from casting that particular Instant. *^*This illustrates that using the scepter does indeed count as casting a spell, and thus counts against Arcane Laboratory. Don't forget you can cast once on THEIR turn as well.*^* 12/1/2004: You cast the copy while this ability is resolving, and still on the stack. Normally, you're not allowed to cast spells or activate abilities at this time. Isochron Scepter's ability provides an exception. *^*This is just kinda interesting and also elaborates on how it counts against Arcane Lab*^*
