The owner of this deck hasn't added a sideboard, they probably should...

you need to focus on a theme having too many 1 of's will not make your deck consistent. if your going for vampires i would suggest the B/R vampire deck that is popular in standard right now. if you like big powerful creatures i would suggest you play mono green with mana ramping like harrow/khali expedition, overgrown battlements or just an elf deck that pumps

also you have too much land 24-25 is considered the limit for land. try to pick you best cards have 4 of them and build around them, dont forget to put your 15 card side board up so that you can swap out cards depending on your match ups
meh.. not really willing to spend more money on it til I figure out if I like the game. hahaha. The kit didn't really come with any duplicates :(. I went with 26 for land because that's what the deckmaster book said. could go lower but didn't really see anything worth adding spellwise or creaturewise in my cards unless I added a 3rd color. :( Also didn't have enough of any color to go for a mono deck. What I've played with before borrowing - were one off decks and they seemed to be fine for noobish levels.. any suggestions for the one offs?
thanks though
Hey, congrats with your first deck, Okay, first you have to have a theme for your deck, I'm thinking stampede like deck where you rush your opponent with big creatures very early in the game, but to do this you will need to get 3 or 4 of the same creatures for each of your creatures, so that means acquiring more of the same cards but remember you still have to limit yourself to roughly 60 cards . To get big creatures out you will need have mana spells to get the creatures out early. If you are to take this approach, you may realize that a complete green deck is ideal, check out this deck http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=174908 GOOD LUCK !!!!
thanks. Was kind of trying to go for a one off - they are what the locals seem to play with, not a fan of the consistent decks. Also don't really want to spend the time or money multi's atm.. so any tip's for one offs? From my basic understanding, the green cards I picked were decent enough for dealing with other creatures both attack and defending, and the swamp creatures would attack the players life. The swamp creatures I have to work with- non are really good at protection, and I didn't have enough forest to go for a one color deck. :/
