you have no card draw, why is the vensor in here. It's a great card but it doesn't fit maybe throw in Griselbrand with all the mana ramp you have going. Also, ring of Kalonia doesn't fit either. None of your creatures are green so they gain no counters.

kalonia gives his shades trample.. idiot
i put in venser in because im only going to need a creature to attack with then 1 or 2 for blockers, so i can have some life gain and eventually not have to worry about blocking
okay trample whoop de doo? if your win con is I need trample to win then just turn in your cards. i mean it has a great concept. I just see it being too combo reliant/reliant on the draw.
itll work fine
I think that the Ring of Xathrid would be a better plan. That way when your crypt ghast is destroyed you can regenerate it. Justinisthecrazy was spot on I do believe. Some removal spells might also be in order. You're in the right color for them. (Doomblade, Ultimate Price, Geth's Verdict, Murder...etc.)
kill spells would be nice, i like the idea of the green ring i dont need it but if i have it they can chump block still but damage will still go threw
This is true, but I think that the targeted removal spells would negate your need for the trample. Trample is useful, but it seems as if you're only using half of the ring.
what if i splash green in and put overrun and rancor in? with the mana ramp it shouldn't be a problem getting a lot of creatures out and pumping them up, or maybe kill control with isecron scepter?
You could even just splash green for rancor. The combination of Green and Black also provides avenue to Abrupt Decay, one of the best removal cards. Period.
i could use that idea for another deck im making with the shade in the new set and the green and black gate, all i planned on doing with this deck was swing with a bunch of shades and pump up the one they dont block
