Green Mana and choice of plays involves a lot of different approaches to playing an Aggressive Deck. There will be arguments that splashing an allied or enemy color will help the deck fix some of the holes that solid Green just doesn't have in its abundant resources. Sure splashing white adds some protection and removal, black adds more removal and some counter or hate spells, red offers burn and other cheap creatures/spells to insure a more fast paced game, while blue offers an abundance of counters and ways to protect yourself. But then this Primer wouldn’t be about Green’s Aggression (Yes, I just used the title in my discussion, LOL). Mono Green brings to the table its own ramp, big creatures, and some limited control; along with enchantments and boosts to add to your own creatures.
Starting from turn 1, you'll want to drop down an Elvish Mystic (basic mana dork). Turn 2 involves dropping a Sylvan Carytid and possibly with Savage Summoning to make sure she sticks. Turn 3 if mana draw was kind to you drop down Kalonian Hydra. Turn 4 you're already going to swing for 8 with trample. Turn 5 you'll want to drop down Nylea, God of the Hunt and her Bow of Nylea. If Kalonian hasn't swung for lethal yet a Mistcutter hydra for a minimum of 5 mana, added effects of trample and deathtouch insure the game is over by turn 6.
