I actually really like this idea. I think it could work. However I would definitely cut your deck down to 60.
Personally I would take out 4Vapor Snags and replace it with 3 Into the Roils and then cut Dispatch and replace it with 3 Journey to Nowhere. It would add more board control so the Infect can hit easier and Into the Roil would be better because it offers card draw, more targets, and Vapor Snag causes life loss (hich doesn't matter when your playing Infect).

One more suggestion is instead of Journey to nowhere or Dispatch you could add either Mighty Leap or Angelic Destiny to pump and add evasion to your infect. One Angelic Destiny on your Juggernaut and thats 9 Infect.

Hahaha yeah I kinda love this deck and it's ability to piss people off. Creature based decks are just done for. I played my buddies b/g landfall/ramp deck and beat him 7 games in a row with this. It's actually a really good deck, he just can't do much if he can't attack.

And yeah I was surprised how well I did even though I was just learning it. I also played against a Tempered Steel deck for fun and it went alright. If they can't get a good start and kill me by turn 4, its all downhill for that deck. But sometimes it was just too fast.

You'll have to let me know how you do once your cards come in. It's a blast to play!

I did pretty good, made a few crucial mistakes with the deck because I'm still learning how to play it well but I ended up 4-1. I played against a Valakut and beat it with lockdown/leylines and I lost against a very control heavy U/W with no creatures. I played against a Pyromancer just for fun and got the crap kicked out of me lol.

And it was the most fun I've had playing a deck in a while. People saw the lockdown and just laughed and one dude who had a creature based deck just said "Well... fuck" and scooped lol.

And theres a LOT of Valakut where I play so I guess I'm biased when I made this. And I just use Celestial Purges and counters against Twin.

I gotta say.. I'm absolutely lovin the deck though!

Well after I played a very similar deck at FNM on the release I'm starting to see the matchups and how this deck does really well, and what it struggles with. Control, Valakut, and Pyromancer Asc. are your biggest worries most likely while any creature based deck gets crushed.

I would highly suggest adding 4 Leylines of Sanctity into the SB for Valakut/Pyromancer. And Celestial Purge for Splinter Twin. It all depends on your meta i guess. Also imo I'm thinking Sea Gate Oracle might be a better 3 drop for this deck than Deceiver Exarch if you hadn't already considered it.

Well, I tested it at FNM last night and it was pretty insane.

Match-ups:

1: Lifegain Deck. They had 52 life and I had 8 before I locked em down and got Venser's ult off twice. I went 2-0 against this deck.

2: Valakut. This one was tough but I beat it without a SB first match, then lost the second, then won the third with Leylines and Lockdown. So I went 2-1

3: R/B Aggro. I went 2-0 with a first match lockdown and a lucky SB topdeck of Leylines/Ratchet Bombs.

4: White Weenie. Crushed it 2-0. Lockdown both games with Venser's Ult.

5: U/W Pure Control. I got crushed lol. Counters up the ass and got beatdown with Collonades and White Sun Zenith. 0-2.

So out of 5 rounds this deck went 4-1. Another control matchup crushes this deck and Valakut is hard to deal with if you can't get Leylines out. But if you're facing a creature/combat phase based deck, it's almost a guaranteed win if they can't get you down by turn 4.

Well, imo I'd rather have the Sphinx than the Titan. I know it could fetch up Tec Edges and O-rings but the draw is just too good along with the flying.

Very nice deck! I actually just made a similar deck not realizing this was a front page deck lol.
I love the concept of Stonehorn Dignitary!

If you wanna take a look at mine it might give ya a few ideas! I know your deck has helped me improve mine.

Thanks! Yeah I'm pretty excited to see how this does. The only downside is this deck gets destroyed by other Control decks (esp U/B). But with Mind Sculpter out of Standard I'm hoping not to see too many other ones.

I have a deck similar to this one that uses Ob Nixilis, the Fallen. He is brutal with Fetch lands and if you add Primeval Titan. One Fetch drop/crack does 6 damage directly and he gets +6/+6 and you get mana floating from the Cobras.

It looks good but one problem I see is, well it's purely a matter of opinion, but True Conviction just flat out costs too much to play it usefully in the Standard format. I'm a long time Standard Knights lover and I used to run Sun Titan and True Conviction and I almost never got them out (And I was also running 21 lands).
My suggestion is that you take out the Convictions and add in the 4th Knight Exemplar for sure. The Exemplars are the supreme Knight card if you can get 2 of em out and it would put your deck down to that perfect 60 cards.

Otherwise I'd say it looks pretty good! :) I always like to see more Knight decks being played.

Yeah I suppose. I just don't like the fact that having the swords in there adds that "random" factor in there. And yeah I ran Flayer Husks in the last Puresteel deck I had that was majorly successful, they do help quite a bit. I'll tweak this one again soon with the swords in there.

Have you considered Melira, Sylvok Outcast? She makes Persist creatures able to come back infinitely.

Well I had an extremely successful equipment deck prior to Stoneforges getting banned. But it was way more of a Puresteel Deck than it was a Cawblade.

Some big suggestions are adding Accorder's Shield and possibly Flayer Husks. The low drop equips + draw accel with Puresteel can win games like no other once you drop a big equipment that costs 0 to attach.

Also, I know Emeria seems pretty good but if you're looking for Tournament Quality I would highly suggest replacing them with Plains. You're almost never going to have enough Plains for it especially with the Inkmoths. Also, Dispatch instead of Silence should help quite a bit.

I'm working on turning my Puresteel Deck into a working deck without the Stoneforges and I'm thinking about Semblance Anvils to reduce the cost of Equipments. I do like ur Ogre Cleaver Idea. I'll post the revision of my deck if your interested once I get around to it.

I would mainboard the squadron hawks. You can pull 4 of em into your hand early on and force discard the vengevines. Then you can play 2 of the hawks that you have and get all of em back with haste and pump the quest quite a bit.

No Verdant Catacombs? Can be crucial to get the right mana base for the pumps in a deck like this.

Well.. just tested this deck and I've gotta say. It's pretty stupid. Extremely quick and effective and surprising, but stupid lol. you just hit with a 1/1 Souleater, assault strobe/ tainted Strike (doesn't matter) and then sac enough life to win. You don't really feel too accomplished, buy hey; the deck definitely works! :)
