Deck Description

A simple token overrun deck, which involves me exiling creatures to get tokens onto the field. I use cards that allow me to bring in a creature multiple times (Precursor Golem+Prototype Portal), then use all 4 of the Parallel Lives to bring more tokens onto the battlefield. With all the artifacts that bring tokens out, I will overrun with artifact tokens.

Thinking about taking out 2 of the Karns and 2 of the Garruks.

Please leave any comments that would help make this better. Also leave any card suggestions that are standard that could replace the Karns and Garruks.

How to Play

Well really I try to get out as many myrs as I can, then I get Parallel Lives, then do something to copy all my myrs and just overrun somebody with myrs. (To bad it isn't standard anymore) :(

Deck discussion for Artifact Overrun

Good deck idea! Here's some food for thought:

If you're thinking about dropping Garruk, consider replacing him with Master of the Wild Hunt. He costs 1 less and you get a 2/2 wolf every upkeep. For a token deck, you're worried more about generating tokens, of any kind, than popping off Garruk's ultimate. As for Karn, he seems a little forced into the deck theme. I would consider taking him out completely. Lastly, the Myr Propagator. I see it's in there for the token generating, but it's a little slow at that. 3 mana and a tap could really hinder your mana curve.

One more thing: Precursor Golem on paper looks like a great idea, but he can easily backfire in your face. I can use one Doom Blade targeting just one golem and they all die. you have to watch when and where you play him. Consider maybe Asceticism (creatures you control have hexproof)? It's mono green, a little expensive, but in your mana ramped deck, you could easily pop off 5 mana by turn 4. That way your tokens are safe.

Oh, and last but not least: You call it an artifact overrun deck but you're not even running Overrun! Good deck man, can't wait to see it after the tweaks you make.

if your deck is based on exiling creatures to get more tokens, you may want to splash either red, blue or white:

RED: Splinter Twin or cards such as Mark of Mutiny to grab your opponents`creatures
WHITE: Momentary blink or cards like that to get the effect twice
BLUE: followed footsteps to get extra tokens each turn.

I thank you for your comments and suggestions, but all of the cards you mentioned were nonstandard. I use this deck in real life, and hav access to all standard cards, so i cannot add those cards. But thanks for the tips!

Hey, I like the deck. I just made a similar one actually, just using Green/White and Gavony Township as well. I feel like Mirrorworks would really help your deck though. You can potentially bring out 1105 Myrs onto the field if you have all Parallel Lives out along w/ using Mirrorworks on Myr Battlesphere. It's just such a fun combo, and it allows you to make tokens of any artifact you play, and it's standard. Just a thought. I run 2 in my deck.

I enjoy the deck im just surprised your not using galvanizers. They both buff your tokens ( well your myr tokens anyway) and if you have the right amount of creatures give you an infinite mana loop for basically playing your whole hand an activating all non sick propagators.

if its not to much trouble im trying to create a deck for the new rotation now that were losing so many good cards and all help is appreciated so if you've got the moment id love any idea's or advice.

thanks for the tip, ill try to find room in my deck for the galvanizers. the infinite mana loop is a huge advantage to this deck, due to the cards combos taking a lot of mana to cast. please advertise this deck so it can make it to the front page!
