Just a fun random deck that I madeIt's standard
Play your lands, play your removal enchantments, last until a sigil can come out and boom angels everywhere

Ephara, God of the Polis. The Magemarks only refer to creatures that are enchanted, so unfortunately, not much use here. Ethereal Armor gives enchanted creature +1/+1 for each enchantment you control, + first strike; Helm of the Gods gives equipped creature +1/+1 for each enchantment you control. Sphere of Safety interacts w/ enchantments, but doesn't come out 'til T5. Might be worth splashing B for Underworld Coinsmith, providing the mana-base supports getting it out early (ie, pretty big splash...at that point, I'd be looking at B enchantments &/or enchantment creatures, too). I'm unfamiliar w/ the B destroy-all-non-enchantment-creatures card, but if you did add B, that would obviously be good w/ Starfield (though not so much w/ Sigil). My thought is that if a deck requires specific things to happen on specific turns, you either need a god hand, or you're dead...being able to roll w/ the punches (or deal them yourself) is key. But Sphinx's Tutelage alone could turn the trick. +1 for thorough-called-random, & fun. :)
Found it; that in itself seems worth running B for. And G.A. Aug performs really well in my (casual) WU deck. Most of this deck is just W, but 1 less mana could make all the difference in the world...after T4.
Can you guys help me smooth out this mana curve? I don't want that many 5cmc stuff
Does it matter that the deck's no longer Standard? Or do you also want to change it so that it's Standard again?
this deck is standard...
Sorry, whenever I see Starfield, I think Theros block. Busy right now, but I'll come back & take a look again later.
So, the problem I have w/ Starfield (& the reason, I assume, I always associate it w/ Theros block) is that to me, Theros block is where it belonged. Starfield will make itself & Sigil 5/5 creatures; other than that, you're only getting 2/2's & 3/3's (which will also be easier to remove, since you're adding the creature type). The problem I have w/ Sigil (such problems this person has!) is that it requires you to play enchantment heavy, a significant limitation when you're trying to control the board 'til you can make your own big moves. I would personally cut Planar Outburst, Ugin's Insight, Quarantine Field, & Starfield altogether, & run cheaper draw & more cheap control, possibly upping Sigil to x4. Awaken is in your colors, so that might be a thing, particularly w/ Halimar Tidecaller...the latter's only 3cmc, & there's plenty of spells w/ awaken for 1-3, so you'd lower your curve significantly. Don't know if any of this helps, but it's just some thoughts I had...good luck w/ your deck, whatever course you ultimately choose to pursue. :D
*2 other cheap, controlly enchantments: Tightening Coils, Claustrophobia.
Hm. Should I keep mill in(tutalage, blighted cat, monastery siege)? I want to go more on the sigil theme. Maybe 4x auramancer maindeck? Add some citadel siege, dampening pulse? I'm thinking one starfield for return to battlefield value. I don't know though
All good ideas. I just always tend to see WU from more of a control perspective, & Tutelage can be a real house, w/ no other mill whatsoever. I would be careful of putting too many things in the 4-drop slot, though.
I'm going to be that guy, cause nobody else was that guy.I would upgrade your land into the battle lands over the cove and the fetch lands over the wilds.also myth realised is perfect for your deck.
Lol I had to google "battle lands" because we call them "tango lands" here. But speaking for myself, when a deck is tagged as "budget", "cheap", or some such, I never suggest more than minimal upgrades to it's mana base, which this deck already has. Good catch on Myth Realized, it really is pretty much ideal.
