The changes look good!

Well you're missing Restoration Angel which is very necessary for this deck. I'd get rid of Steel Sabotage in favor of it.

Also, you need more land. I'd get rid of the Apostle's Blessing (don't need it with Cloudshift and Restoration Angel) and put in 4 Seachrome Coasts (or Evolving Wilds) in. I use to be the 20 land type, until I regularly got manahosed. Most control decks like this one needs 24 land, because you want to get to your Deadeye Navigator and have the mana available to use his ability (or Cloudshift.)

I'd cut out 2 Vensers and add in 2 more Dungeon Geists or Frost Titans. Having more than one Venser in your hand isn't going to help and with the other blink stuff, he's not as necessary as he used to be in this type of deck.

Definitely agree with the Emissary over the Elk. The extra toughness doesn't matter, because most players aren't going to waste a spell on taking out the Emissary.

I added Torpor Orbs to the deck and after a couple playtests, I like what I've seen. It can weaken Messenger's, but it helps everything else.

I would recommend Swiftfoot Boots over Whispersilk Cloak. I'd probably add in another Sword of Vengeance and take out an Armored Ascension.

Other than that, it looks very interesting!

I did not know that, but you are correct. Well Torpor Orb still hurts Messengers, but it might be worth it. I'm thinking about Vapor Snags also.

Torpor Orb makes Geralf's Messenger and Phantasmal Images useless.

I've also thought about using Vapor Snag also, but I like that Saving Grasp can be used twice.

And now I have added them. I don't know what took me so long to realize that Mimic Vat is a better option than Goblin Warrens.

Another update.

This deck rocks.

Apprentice Wizards are great for mana ramping. Tap them and spend 1 blue to gain 3 colorless. Also get the locus lands, which will help.

I did a deck very similar to this and hadn't seen your version before until just right now.

That's an awesome idea. Overwhelming Stampede is another replacement for Overrun also (except I don't own either of those and both are more expensive.)
