I know it's a book, but why is it the deck's title?

Also, what do you think of the deck itself?

Pshhhhh.... its the title because... because... ah eff.. i dunno... i PERSONALLY love vexing devil and browbeat so i have no suggestions on how to improve the deck.. except maybe to inform the general public in the Info section of the deck that the "master" referred to in the title is Buddysystem.. but other than that, nope nothing!

oh and you never responded to my comment or the changes i made in my B/W suicide deck -_-

The thing about having both Vexing Devil and Browbeat in the same deck is it really cuts away the "oh, I'll just take the damage, no big deal" side of the decision. More often than not though, the star of this deck is Hellrider. Even having just one out on the field can win me the game without dealing a shred of combat damage =P

Haha, no, but I wish I knew it. I personally think it's a language with a bad reputation...it's really quite beautiful =/

Master and Margarita is, however, one of my favorite books =]

I gotta be honest with ya' I haven't read it, but the title popped into my head from a very good friend, whom is married to a Russian woman. Yes, the language is quite beautiful =) I self-taught myself to be able to communicate just a little with her - Can't read Cyrillic, but how to say 'Hello, to a friend" it sounds like
"Prevjet"
How are you feeling? "Kok Delah?"
I'm good: "Horoshjo"
Excuse me: "Esvitchenie"

Sorry, I'm ranting...

I did a little detective work on the book though.
Is this more of a "fun" deck than it is serious? The main character is visited by the devil and the book is a semi-comedy, other than that... go no effin' clue, heheh, but I like your devil tribal a lot

You're the closest yet, pointing out the book is about the devil and the main character's relations with him. The reference is way more deep seeded than that though.

This deck, like most of my tribal decks, is meant for a fun/"business casual" Tribal format played at my local card shop. It's a ton of fun, and over the years I have seen some REALLY interesting creature types used in a tribal fashion.

Pretty good, I've been visted upon throughout the holidays, so I haven't really had time to sit down and do anything relating to my hobbies for a while.

I loooove the flavor of this deck, and a Devil tribal has been on my list to build since I saw them, so I'm quite glad to see they're doing as nice as this. I don't know if I would have gone with Valakut, but this looks like it has to be sick in your shop tribal matches!

Glad to hear your holidays went well =]

Devils are surprisingly good yeah. As for Valakut, do you mean using a full playset, or using it in general?

By the way, what do you think about the sexy new vault?

They went well, but I forgot how stressful it is having that much family in such a small space >_>

Devils are kind of epic for tribal it feels, and I really hope they get continued support. And as for Valakut, I mean in general. It's a good thing, but without anything to do multiple landfall in a turn it feels a bit wasted.

And sexy new vault is sexier than expected, or hoped. I love it

Yeah, as much as I love my family, things can get really damn hectic at times...

I was kind of skeptical at first with devils, since there is already demons...but I have to say I'm happy with how WoTC managed to make them so different. Demons are brutal sadistic monsters and devils are mischievous little bastards who want to break things.

I had Valakut in as a sort of late-game mechanic (free lightning bolt or two a turn is pretty nice), but I'm thinking of dropping down to 3 or even 2. Hellrider is my true late-game guy. I've had multiple games where I've won outright simply from attacking, not from dealing combat damage.

You're forever an inspiration to me. And once again, I must call on you to pimp my Standard decks.
I've hit a COLOSSAL existential slump, which why I've been silent on verse since I took a term in France.
ANYWAY,
Since the webmaster ignored my plea about a better notification system, I have to pimp my decks manually.
If you could give this Standard brew of mine a gander and pimp it yourself, it'd be much appreciated.

I just finished the book and it is really fantastic. I was pleasantly surprised to see someone had the same idea as me, though I have yet to come up with a deck. The Devil idea is clever and looks effective, though I may add some player control or more long range cards. Might add in black... And possibly a "behemoth" of sorts.
