The owner of this deck hasn't added a sideboard, they probably should...

Deck Description

This is my Black Sacrifice deck changed (slowed to a crawl is more like it -_-) to fit Standard. Ugh...If anything, it works as a nice way to show how slow Standard is.

Deck discussion for Strandardized Sacrifice

Possible 3rd turn Demon and turn four 14 damage..if you put Tainted Strike in that could be a turn four kill... That doesn't sound to slow to me...

My other deck can kill on turn 2 or 3...

This one either kills on turn 5 (maybe) or on turn 4 if I *HAPPEN* to get tainted strike. But turn count is not the only indication of a deck's speed. This standard version lacks that in-your-face "shock value" that forces people to make mistakes. Without that extra agression, the opponent is free to calmly consider each play, and since it takes 4-5 turns minimum for this version to win, they have plenty of time to work out defenses against it. It just drives me nuts. =/

I thought this was a casual deck coming from you, I didn't realize standardized meant standard. It does indeed lack the shock value of the old one.

I know! I mean, sure...It'll probably still make most standard players crap their pants, but damn it the deck just doesn't have that "feel" to it.

since this is a mono black sac deck you should add Crypt of Agadeem, just in case you need to set up another DoDG.
I have a black/blue deck that uses DoDG here: http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=117448
