Heliod is WAY better than people give him credit for. His ability to pump out ENCHANTMENT creature clerics allows for some serious shenanigans. Because of this, the deck can run a myriad of options all at once. It has powerful life gain effects, classic white weenie token spam, enchantment voltron, pillow fort effects, and various means of cleric tribal craziness.

Haha thanks, I was a little surprised myself that it turned out as good as it did. I'm also working on an Obzedat design, and I WAS working on a Triad of Fates build as well...but then WotC released Roon. Sooooo...Now I can make an even dirtier flicker deck =D
Obzedat as a commander is just... I don't like that.
I'm trying to keep it from being to much of an auto-pilot kind of thing. I know the reasons people don't like "Them", so hopefully my list will bring some extra stuff to the table.
Hey, it'd still be less of an auto-pilot design than Zur is at least.
Zur can be auto-pilot, but I've seen some people do amazing and creative things with him too. My three least favorite generals would have to be:1. Rafiq (I've seen original takes on him, but its usually the same voltron smashyface lameness)2) Kaalia (Wumps has even admitted he dislikes playing HIS Kaalia design because it's such an auto-pilot)C - Aurelia (No idea why, but I see her used as a general ALL. THE. TIME. now...Only one was actually interesting)
True, he can be used interestingly, but very few people do anything more than make him play the deck for them.Rafiq Is my number one hated as well.Kaalia, not so much, I actually stick Maga in this slot. There are four Aurelia players at the shop... They're all essentially the same deck.
Maga? Really? Do you feel this same ire towards my Maga list?
It's a Maga list, so a little bit yeah. It's not as bad as the run of the mill "lol makez lotz of manaz to kill d00ds", but it's still there.
Fair enough.
Man you guys would hate my current EDH lists.... :( Sure, I'm also feeling unloved on this site lately :'''(lol :D
<___<Up until a few days ago, I thought you were gone man.
I'm not :)Not ever. But I did clean up a lot, deleting a whole bunch of decks. Some I can't remember now :(Do you know what my first deck was on here? lol
It's on the tip of my tongue. I'm the kind of guy that does care about and keep track of these things...remind me =]
I can't tell you how many times I've been slapped for forgetting something like this... Okay, three. Three is how many times.
I think you are asking me what deck it was, but i dont remember.
Soooo...That Obzedat list. I finished it =Phttp://www.mtgvault.com/surewhynot/decks/prayers-for-the-faithless/
Where u been?!
How about Expedition Map for fetching... well, what ever you like? *cough* Serra´s Sanctum *cough*
That's not a bad idea actually...Seeing as how Serra's Sanctum makes this deck silly.
*gah, I forgot to like this ! Sorry, Sure. The error has now been corrected
were's glorious anthem?
Heliod's Spear essentially has replaced it, and I didn't really have room in here for both.
oh, cool. I really like the deck, though.
why snow land?
They look nice =P
For a deck that pumps out X/1 tokens, the lack of Skullclamp is a bit depressing. I can definitely see you falling behind in card advantage quite fast.Have you considered Martyr's Cause? It gets around nasty things like Hexproof, Shroud, Protection from Players, Protection from Everything, etc, and you have plenty of tokens to offer up!
Yeah, not sure why I forgot to include the Clamp, but it's in the deck now. Thanks for the reminder.
