Deck Description

Got a few Omnath's the other day, so I figured I may as well make a deck to abuse the hell out of him with.

This deck makes obscene amounts of mana. Yeah, it's 65 cards and not 60. When it was 60 I thinned my deck out too fast.

60 is better regardless. i can't see this winning any legacy tournament, but it sure is a lot of mana. into wolfbriar elemental. into wrath of god or firespout.

Yeah, I was never planning on taking it to a legacy tourney...or any tourney for that matter. This is mostly for casual to be honest. =]

You are crazy.... This deck us sick. But you know what the best thing is? I'm testing a deck that might OUTRAMP you. Hurray for little brothers, mine came to visit and saw the Land Ramp deck I was making mapped out on the floor and goes "Why do you choose between Harrow, Explore, Rampant Growth, and Cultivate? Just run 4 of each." Also, check out my response on my Leveler deck.

Love this deck! I've actually taken a lot of ideas from you about decks. Thanks for inspiring!

Just curious what you think of this deck I'm currently working on?

Also, what would you play against someone who uses a blue/white deck to mill the shit out you?

hey, I noticed that you make some of the most epic decks i have come across, and was wondering if you could possibly help me with one of my decks. I'm trying to stay as close to an angel theme as possible, and want another opinion. If not, its cool.

oops, forgot my final point, this is alot of mana...just have to put that out there again...
(and can you have more than 60 cards in a deck?)

Sure, I'll take a look, thanks for the compliment =]

And yes, you can have a deck larger than 60. The thing is, even a 61 card deck is, by and large, slower than a similar deck of 60 cards. This deck is almost completely for casual play/fun and so the 65 size is no problem for me. That, and as I explained, the deck thinning I do with this is so intense I still sometimes come close to milling myself haha =P

ok, thanks, and the fact is i usually play casual decks, and am always fighting with myself to keep in specific cards, when if I had like 65 I could have that much better of a deck. The slowness is almost something I have adjusted to...and haha, I actually have one matches against a deck that isn't quite this intense, but it was so bad that they ran out of cards before I was halfway through my deck. haha
and you really do make scary decks *hints at Pure Evil deck*

Well you should always strive for a 60 card deck, but every once in a while it's not the end of the world if you go over =]

How could you NOT have genesis wave in this??

Uhm...I don't have it in because I made this deck as a more casual/fun based deck. Recently I've wanted to make a deck or two that was a little subdued for playing against newer players and/or casually/for fun. My B/W knight deck "Checkmate" was made for a similar reason. I can't have JUST soul-crushing OP decks right? =P

Great deck. I have learned a lot looking through your decks and comments. I have a similar deck I'm working on if you don't mind throwing me some advice. Same-ish concept but I threw in Liege of the Tangle and Primeval Titan.

Hey man. Had an idea just now that I would like your advice about since its a fast paced land deck. Basically I'm thinking of redoing my previous deck and making it an army of forests. http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=301370

I know it's a ridiculously silly combo, but Stormtide Leviathan + Carpet of Flowers + Omnath = lolz.
