Deck Description

I LOOOOOVE this deck. This is my spirit token deck and not only does it kick ass, but it is so damn fun to play.

Boom! Drought ended

Also, sneaky tossing in Tesya, I had a deck once that used her with Darkest Hour for shenanigans

Teysa is what breaks this deck. I can exile the crap out of people and just dump out spirit tokens =P

Teysa is just a broken enabler with a deck I'm working on, Culling the Weak, Cabal Therapy, and Contamination are some of the cards it enables for the deck :D

Ouch. Regular Teysa deck or EDH?

Regular, EDH would just be plain nasty. I posted the very first draft of it a second ago, it's not quite finished, but it's usable :D

"Light Eternal"

Well, that's the literal translation. It pretty much means eternal light/life, which fits the idea of Spirits =P

I think you should replace "Seize the Soul" with Devouring Greed

I've thought about using Devouring Greed before, and I'm still mulling around the idea. I might try it for a few games and see how it does...

Btw, I'm back and holy hell a lot has happened since I've been gone O_o

Ok, so Devouring Greed is way better after testing...It's downright abusive with Teysa =P

very nice, I think white and black decks tend to be the most fun to play. I use to have a life gain deck that was 100% but man was it fun to play with. :)

Teysa + darkest hour = a really evil combo

My advice:
-2 Oyobi
-4 tormented soul
+4 darkest hour
+2 Teysa

however that might make it less fun...

That's a nice looking deck there. One thing I'm wondering about though, will Bloodghast get bonuses from things like Long Forgotten Gohei as it's a Vampire Spirit over a normal Spirit. I may just be knit picking but it may make a difference.

Also, you have quite the love for Kamigawa dont you?

As long as a creature type has the word "Spirit" in it, it will still work. Unless otherwise stated, it doesn't matter if it has (or doesn't have) other types, so long as it has the type mentioned in the card. For example, if I had a card that made all "Soldiers" I control one mana cheaper, and then played a "Kithkin Soldier" type creature, it would still get the -1 mana cost bonus because it's still has the word "Soldier" in its type.

Hope that helps ;)

Not so much Kamigawa as Spirits are my favorite creature type =]

Don't get me wrong, I think Kamigawa is one of the more under appreciated sets out there, but it's mostly my love for Spirits =P

Aaaah. I see. Thanks Rocktopus.

I've seen a lot of your decks sure and noticed a lot of Kamigawa cards in them so I guessed it was your favourite set. My favourite set is probably Alara. Gotta love Esper.

Just cycling through your old decks; been awhile since I've played, but I know the first deck I ever put any real money into was an exact recreation of your black sacrifice deck :P It's still my most fun/powerful deck, honestly.

Just out of curiosity, what would you say is your most fun deck to play? In a kitchen table, no-holds-barred format, that is.

Most fun? Hrm...That's hard to say. Off the top of my head my deck "Lady Luck". I'll have to check through my decks and see what else haha.
