Deck Description

"I have harnessed the shadows that stride from world to world to sow death and madness." -- H.P. Lovecraft, 'From Beyond'

How to Play

Swarm the opponent with cheap vampires and various shenanigans, taking opportunistic pot-shots with Tymaret's ability. The idea is that you'll have lots of little damage hits that will all add up quickly.

The only thing I needed to know about this to make me love it was the general, but then I see some of my favorite creatures in an array of delicious cruelty, the sort of thing that would leave wanton trails of destruction. But then, to see that the description holds a quote from my favorite author, and from one of my favorite works of his no less! Sure, you've outdone yourself kind sir.

It's one of my very favorite quotes of his, or any author, period. I too, feel like I outdid myself. This deck, and I must admit my Stabwhiskers one as well, has quickly grown to be one of my favorites.

It is quite wonderful, but I am afraid I have to say that Faustus still holds my pick for favorite quote; "That which issues from the heart alone, will bend the hearts of others to your own."

I have yet to get to your Stabwhiskers, but if this is any indication, I can entirely understand. It's efficient, powerful, and above all else, it retains the enjoyability a lot of times found lacking in BR decks.

Yeah we recently played a few games of Star* EDH and Wumps was one of my allies with his new Tok-Tok EDH...I honestly can't remember the last time I had that much fun playing with a B/R deck...of any format let alone EDH.

*Star is a way of playing where there are five players making up a 'star' (seven works too). Each player to either side of you is your ally, and the two players across from you are you opponents. The first player to take out his two opponents wins.

I left it out because I already have Blood Artist and I quite frankly hate the artwork of Noble. I only have my phone right now (out of town), but I'll be sure to check your stuff out when I can.

This comment made me giggle. I can't look at anything right now though. I'm already halfway through a 60 dollar bottle of scotch...
