Deck discussion for Great gig in the sky

this is much better. i like mayael's area, but i feel like R/W would still be a bit better.... idk. at any rate, i think it might be better if you dropped zigurat and a shrine for 4 windswept heath or wooded foothills. it might be a bit more dependable with that base, and will also benefit from lotus cobra. mimic vat seems kinda random, but if you have alot of trouble with removal, i can understand it's inclusion.
i'd also suggest more verdicts, another hamletback and more borderlands, but adding those would upset the three color ballence you have at the moment. i'm sorry i cant suggest something to take out.

I have fallen in love with this new design. It's fast as hell, consistent, and dumps threats out like mad.

Mimic Vat is a nightmare for the opponent. Copy the Titans for all sorts of schenanigans, copy Cloudgoat and make a secondary army of Kithkin, or (my favorite) copy Borderland and chuck him with Stoutarm! BAM!

Plus, every time a copy comes in, Hamletback gets bigger and bigger. With him I've gotten the final trigger for Mayael's Aria multiple times.

Verdicts are amazing, but I really can only afford the 2 in here =/

My teacher has a giant deck, this annhilates its, i love how this is constructed.
Why put no removal though? And why not add more fetch lands for extra cobra kicks?

To put it bluntly, I have a board full of freakin giants. What could I possibly need to remove? =P

This is true, I shoulda looked more at the speed of the deck before stating that, sorry.
Why no fetches for extra cobra triggers though?

Well, I have Arid Mesa, which can snag almost all of my lands, but I worry if I added more fetches it would hamper the deck. In this deck I want to grab lands, not thin them out...so just 4 fetches is fine. Plus, Sun Titan lets me reuse the Mesas =]

Damn I'm really not thinking today, I forgot Sun Titan lets you return lands. Sorry for the dumb questions. Next time I'll think more before I post something

They are a bit, if I observed more I would have answered those myself, also very nice collection of the old lands, after seeing your Mishra's Workshop playset I can't say I'm surprised you have at least a playset of each of those.

My question is after playing against you once who would go back for more? LOL

you make some really killer an unique decks, a part of me thinks that you fine tune them before you post them. :) I haven't seen decks remotely close to what you and Wumpus put up here. really great job guys. :)

Really nice deck! I've never seen Borderland Behemoth before, that thing could get out of hand.

Check out one of my tribal decks, I could use some help.

this is a REALLY nice giant deck, i like the green in it for added oompf! normally the giant tribals i see are red or red/white. also....no jareth makes me sad, but only a little;)

i have a giant tribal as well, but while yours is giant/warrior, i rolled giant warrior;) if you get a sec, check it out and drop a comment or suggestion to help make it just a tad faster(which i dont know how to do without doing something like adding green to it

This deck is lots of fun. I played 2 draw hands games between this deck and mine I just created and it was so much fun to see how everything panned out. I checked out a few other of your decks and you are one hell of a brilliant Guy.
If you get a chance check out my new Elemental Horrors deck I have been working on.

This deck dies SO HARD to creatures with flying. You're only pseudo-removal is Inferno Titan, and even he can't deal with fliers that have more than 4 toughness (unless you've gone all the way to imprinting it on Mimic Vat, but that that point, you've probably already died to their flying attacks).

Gravity Well solves this problem, though. At least stuff it in the sideboard, it'd be no fun going the whole game without drawing Inferno Titan and then dying from Grand Comrade Storm Crow's attacks.

I have a sideboard for the deck that has a number of anti-flying things because it really does have trouble with flying stuff =/

I tend to use this against decks with very little flying though, because I like it how it is and the SB, while effective, isn't as much fun to play =/ Even so, the BoPs and Cloudgoat provide pretty decent defense against the occasional flyer

why not take out favor and feud for 4 fury of the horde?
double attack step is phenomenal, love it in my elemental deck =)

you could probably do it with the changes specified because then you would have 22 total red cards in the deck.

I love the look on an opponent's face when Brion throws a Behemoth or Goliath into his face. Have you considered Kithkin Greatheart or Elvish Handservant?
