Deck discussion for El Queso de la Muerte!

Dude... Did not think about Quietus Spike, that's hilarious!

It is =]

Played Wumps in a trial match and the Spike is complete cheese when used with say...first turn Tormented Soul, second turn double Dark Rituals to play and equip Spike swing for 11 unblockable =P

Don't know why, but that made me think of this rather awesome clip from Metalocalypse.

So from hence forth, I shall refer to Tormented Soul as 'the kitties'.

Hmm.... im not sure I exactly like counterspells here. I mean, 4 mental misstep I definitely approve of, but when I think unblockable I think more aggro than anything, and I wouldn't want to be holding up mana.
Instead of counterspells, maybe you could use diabolic edicts, thoughtseizes, dismembers? more mbc kinda feel? just a thought. if it's a control-aggro build then I understand completely, but unblockable, for me, screams aggro lol.

also no brainstorm? :O maybe it's my legacy newb-ness, but i think if a deck has blue in it, it almost demands 4 brainstorm xD

Oh yeah, this is a cheesy aggro-control =P

Control crap whilst cheesing the crap out of things =]

Maybe you could add the bad Sygg (don't remember the name, the blue black one) to quick your draw. It must be easy to do more than 3 damage every turn.
Could I ask for your deck building first impression? I'd really like to know what you think about my last deck, a Pyrohemia one.

I love that this is a "cheese" deck that costs between $600-$1,500, rofl.

Nice. I too have a spirit-crush on TS. I prefer sigil of sleep over arm of aether. With TS you can make a turn 2 unblockable bouncer. I like quince paste with my aggro-control cheese.

A guy in my group runs a similar deck design (just strait white) with creatures that have shadow [some have prot red too :( ], so I know what it feels like to face this type of deck. Jitte on anything that's 'unblockable' is just nasty. I'm so not going to suggest about Quietus Spike :p

Dam you surewhynot, dam you. After seeing this deck it's been sitting in the back of my mind for the last 2 weeks and now I'm going to build an unblockable deck. Any ideas on what I should use as a 'F*** you' for the unblockables? Bear in mind I don't have money for the equips you're using here.

it depends on what colors you want to play, there are a lot of cheap green enchantments that work rather nicely with unblockable. Snake umbra, bear umbra just to name a few.

That's the problem, I still haven't decided on a colour / colours. It's kind of why I asked, so I can get ideas and then choose a colour :p

Quietus Spike should only be a dollar or so. Otherwise I'm at a loss to replace Jitte. Banshee's Blade provides about 1/6 the pump and none of the other utility, and that's about the only card I can think of to compare.. Um.. Nemesis Mask would be funny?

D: You beat me to it! I was totally planning on making an unblockable deck once Innistrad was added to the Vault, with Invisible Stalker and 'the kitties.'

Invisible Stalker {1}{U}
Creature - Human Rogue
Hexproof
Invisible Stalker is unblockable.

Helm of the Ghastlord is pretty badass.

Also, Shadowmage Infiltrator could be neat. Still unblockable, gets all the buffs and gives you some draw.

Wow. You just made my day. I've never seen quietus spike. I run a nasty shadow suicide deck. That card would be straight up nasty.
