very Interesting and cool aggro control build... You must have very few friends left after they play this...

Psychogenic Probe is an absolute monster in this piece of glorious destruction. Damn, SWN, you and your kind broke M:tG.. again !
I, of course, mean that in the kindest way possible ^_^ and kudos for the TNN: Beast of Merfolks.

*Salute !

Thanks dude =]

I still don't know how I feel about TNN. I fear it's affecting legacy too much at the moment, but I might be wrong.

Love it in my extraction deck. Gives it that extra hitting power that just didn't exist for me before.

Since you seem to be centralized in your strategies somewhat around extripate and extraction, I'd love to see your opinion on my deck whenever you get the chance. Your builds are totally different from how I usually deckbuild and I'd really be interested to know what I might be able to alter to make my deck more capable of abusing extraction to its fullest.

Goldfishing this deck makes some wild hands brother. Gratz on the originality of the build.

Switching from two Metamorph and three Tarmogoyfs to having two Tarmogoyfs and three TNN is just beautifully evil.
I don't know how I feel about sideboard Bobs though... They provide a recovery option, but I just feel like they're lackluster in this. What MUs are you bringing those in on?

I bring them in against Affinity mostly believe it it not. Really anything that demands more speed in exchange for a bit of reckless abandon.

Really?! I usually go Pithing Needle+Revoker, and Pyroclasm if it's my Parfait build, and for Iso-Pox I just pick Needle, and Abrupt Decays.
I guess since PAL can't sweep the board so easily it's a little harder than just denying Tezzeret plays, but generally just going Needle on Tezzeret, and Abrupt Decay on Cranial Plating does the trick for me. Past that the damage rates can't go far enough, as they /need/ something to let them break past the ten damage threshold by turn four usually.

Yeah, Needle and old "robo- JarJar" are always great options, but Bob has been good to me for whatever reason.

I guess because he gets you more consistency via card advantage, I'm just blown away that it helps in that MU when you consider the lifeloss.

Well I guess the way I see it is Affinity is gonna smack the crap out of you either way, so you just need to be ok with the lifeloss...

True, but that's the one game where I feel the need to play it safe. Affinity was the first aggro deck to beat my Reanimator without playing excessive hate, so it kind of messes with me every time I play against it.

Yeah, I think we can both agree we hate Affinity =P

I might play around with having just one Bob in the 'board and swapping out the second one for Revoker.

"An ember smolders.
Nurtured by laughter and happy smiles, flickers with silent tears.
And with this passion it grows.
Born of flame that is such longing it cannot be stopped.
And when the world burns...
Walk with me my dear, so we may burn together."

That's the whole thing. Wrote it for a girl. Still love her, but what're you gonna do? =/

No she did. Long story short is that we're still very good friends, but I fucked up =/

Seems like quite a personal thing to name your deck after, I'm a bit surprised honestly.
Shame you messed up, but it's good that you got to remain friends at the least.

Yeah for whatever reason I like to name my PAL lists after dark/introspective things...

Perhaps it's because this is such a uniquely "you" deck, that you name them something that has some modicum of significance to you... Oh, to pick your brain would be such a treat.

I also think you have to tap into a dark place to be able to play a PAL correctly. I forgot you love psychology and such. I've had my psychologist friend (who probed my mind for his final project) that I have a "genuinely terrifying and fascinating brain".

I have found that to be the case, and specifically a sort of redirected form of self-malcontent works best, which works well for me most of the time.
The human psyche is a wonderfully bizarre thing, but there are many(mostly ethical) reasons I'd be barred from practicing psychology. I have an obsessive compulsion to understand complex systems, and this would be an absolutely /terrible/ field for that to come into play in. I also have frequent psychotic breaks, where all emotion, and any idea of morality/ethics simply disappear from me.

I'm quite jealous of your friend who did this, it seems endlessly more intriguing now. There's a not so subtle pleasure we all seem to derive from constrained cruelty, doubly so by our own invention, so that alone would make your mind terrifying to most, but that it was a friend that said it... I'm more than a little curious, I must say haha!
