Deck Description

Melira's ability will stop -1/-1 counters from being placed on your creatures, so creatures with persist will keep recurring from the graveyard.

With Kitchen Finks, a sac outlet, and Melira, you can combo for infinite life. With Murderous Redcap, a sac outlet, and Melira, you can combo for infinite damage. Note that if the sac outlet used is Viscera Seer, you can theoretically scry through your entire deck.

I am considering splashing white to gain access to Reviliark or Sun Titan (to recur combo pieces) and Ranger of Eos (to fetch viscera seers). Thoughts?

Right now, the combo feels a bit loose and vulnerable (hence the reason for the Spellskites), so any suggestions to improve this deck are very much appreciated.

Thanks in advance

Deck discussion for Melira Persist

Very nice! Melira is one versatile healer. The two infinite combos are so simple and elegant.

Thank you! This idea actually arose from a discussion i had with a friend, regarding glen elendra archmage. We were discussing ways to win counter wars and he said, "you know, glen elendra and melira means you get to re use it an infinite amount of times."

The gears started churning a bit later, i brewed this up.The combo is a bit vulnerable, so any suggestions on how to protect it would be great. Also, i may need some alternate win conditions, as i can't expect to combo off on the redcap every game.

Glistening Oil for removal. It kills their creatures over time while making them useless as attackers if Melira is in play and returns to your hand once they're dead. I think it would be the perfect tool for this deck. Mental Misstep can provide some measure of protection for Melira. SB Autumn's Veil for additional protection.

Glistening oil is some sweet tech, thanks for that suggestion. I also put in BSZ in the sb for some one sided board sweeping while melira is out haha
