Deck Description

I tried to make a deck with all the cards directly referencing Chandra, or at least the cards that reference effects she would use. I wanted the deck to look like what a person fighting Chandra would face.

I have a personal... animosity for using planeswalker cards in decks. Yes they're great, yes they're powerful, and I hate going up against them in battle. But when I play magic I'm the plainswalker, and I don't share the battlefield. So no Chandra plainswalker cards.

So it's a mono red Chandra theme deck with no Chandra plainswalker cards (Though feel free to take what I've done and adapt it, after all that's the whole point of this site.) That being said if anyone has any input to enrich the deck as long as it's in keeping with the theme I'd love to hear about it.

(Sideboard has some Chandra flavor that doesn't mesh with the deck functionality. Open for input.)

How to Play

Ruby Medallion to cheapen up the manna cost of all spells. Then burn away at your opponent.

Maybe add Pyromancer's Gauntlet? Boosts your spell damage, and the artwork is Chandra's glove. :)

Pyromancer's goggles are not hers, but they do have a quote from her on.

She has a good burn spell in rise of the eldrazi, 5 damage for 2 mana, bounce a land.

http://gatherer.wizards.com/Pages/Card/Details.aspx?name=pyromancer's+goggles Ayre Jaya's and http://gatherer.wizards.com/Pages/Card/Details.aspx?name=Inventor's+Goggles are her fathers.

THOUGH, I thought that she wore Jaya's not her father's as I think her mother wore those?

I think she has the spell, though I can't remember when she cast it, and I can't find anything about on the salvation wiki. THOUGH, jaya's goggles do copy spells and Chandra wears those, or was at least taught by the same monks as her. Its seems fair that the monks would have taught her the spell they taught jaya?

To me the art on the card looks like Chandra, so I stuck it in.
