Thanks @blakester! I keep toying with moving a couple Twincasts out for more draw, but they can do so much damage with either Glimpse the Unthinkable or Mind Funeral.
not too shabby. its too bad you cant put glimpse the unthinkable on isochron scepter! that would be nuts >:Dim not really feeling brainfreeze in here though. theres probably not gonna be a point where you have more than 3 storm. i would try mindgrind, the new mill card from gatecrash. its like a smaller mind mind funeral, or potentially a larger mind funeral.there arent many options for instant speed mill that can fit on the scepter though unfortunatly
Thanks for the suggestions! Mind Grind is a cool card, but certainly less efficient than Mind Funeral (the names say it all). I think you might have missed that Brain Freeze can be imprinted on Isochron Scepter and used during my opponents' turns. It presents a serious threat for decks that ramp early, as it storms off of their spells too. It's like a much more efficient Grindstone, even when it doesn't storm.
i wouldnt take out mind funeral for mindgrind. rather, i would take out brainfreeze for mindgrind. i get that you can do it on their turn. but its still not very efficient. im not really a fan of scepter in mill decks in general, but you might be better off just slapping twincast on the scepter.
You could add Reliquary Towers instead of a few Islands. Could be useful in combination with Ensnaring Bridge :)
Ensnaring Bridge wants fewer cards in hand, rather than more. I appreciate the suggestion, though! Thanks for taking the time to look it over and add some feedback.
The format you play in has a lot of fetch lands and whatnots, yet you don't play Archive Trap, how come?
You bring up an excellent point, and I have considered it. The cards here only represent ones I actually own, though. If I had some fetch lands, you had better believe they and a couple Archive Traps would be going in here.
