The earth trembles as this creature deck slams onto the table. Kavu rule the lands in this blast from the Stone Age! A deck w/ alot of flying can be dangerous to this one, but you end up having so many powerful creatures that they end up blocking w/ their flying, so it helps balance itself out. Had to throw in a Seething Song, Red's answer to Dark Ritual for the high mana cost through-out this deck. I should probably add more of them. But it's all I have to work with for now. The Onslaught helps keep your opponent submissive as the beasts begin their rage. Give it a shot, you'll really enjoy this. I have alot of fun playin' this one with friends. Thanks boss. Yeah, I really enjoy playin' this one w/ a buddy of mine. It's nasty for a 100 card deck.
I really love this deck. Great color combination and I love all the Kavu's especially with the onslaught out.
Thanks Wolf, appreciate it!
nice...the only thing I'd have to say about this deck, and your decks in general, is to work on the mana curve. You have 20 4-drops, along with 10 6-drops, which is cool and powerful, but not efficient, since that's a big portion of your deck and you don't want to be drawing those kinds of cards early in the game with no way of playing them. Try some mana acceleration cards (like eldrazi spawns, land-fetches, etc) to speed it up if you wish to keep all those high-costing cards. Otherwise, I totally love this deck though...I may try building one around Kavus as well. Thanks so much for your comments on my decks too!! =]
Well I have a few Seething Songs which is Reds answer to Dark Ritual thrown in as well. If you look closely through most of my decks there are things to combat high mana cost and/or pull something out for no mana at all, etc. Like the Gorgon deck back there has 20 lands, 4 of them are Artifacts, etc. ;P But thanks for the kind words. Kavu are fun as hell & a challenge because there's multiple colors & effects they can pull off; so figuring out how to utilize them all is fun.
