I agree with you that duals do not count as basic lands, but they do count as basic land TYPES, as long as you use the duals from Revised or Ravnica block. That is why a Watery Grave for example has a subtype of island and swamp. So, they do work with collective restraint, since it looks at basic land types, not the number of basic lands.

Collective Restraint is my defense against creatures. I use the dual lands that count as basic land types, so it usually doesn't take me long to get all 5 basic land types out, requiring my opponent to pay 5 mana for each attacking creature.
This deck is very similar to a deck I have based on just underworld dreams. The biggest difference is that I run a lot of counterspells in my deck. The one that works really good is perplex. It can let you play it to counter a spell or you can use its transmute ability to go get your Underworld Dreams, Megrim, or anything else that has a mana cost of 3. If you want to take a look at mine, here is a link: http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=220365
You might want to consider throwing in some red for a quick burn spell like shock or lightning bolt to get your bloodthirst before playing a creature, or even Honden of Infinite Rage to deal 1 damage on each of your turns. Maybe even throw in some equipment like Viridian Longbow and equip it to a creature to ping your opponent for a point each turn before playing a bloodthirst creature. If it were my deck, I would also take out the tower of calamities. In my opinion, it is just too expensive to activate, especially since you can't even target a player with it.
Thank You for the Clarification. That is how I understood it to work with Kiki-Jiki as well.
From what I have read online, it said that you can wait until the sac trigger goes on the stack and then use the sundial to exile the trigger. Is that not correct?
Thanks for the suggestions. I was actually considering taking out the doubling season just for that reason.
